Why a public benefit corporation
FFC Fischer Fritz PBC grew out of a conviction that is as simple as it is far-reaching: privilege means responsibility. It was not founded as a philanthropic afterthought, but as the primary instrument for deep, lasting change.
We chose the legal form of a public benefit corporation deliberately. It obliges us, in law, to reconcile commercial success with public benefit. Our fiduciary duty is owed not only to our shareholders but to the communities we serve: the women we strengthen, and the children whose futures we help shape.
Our guiding idea: commercial success as the engine of social change.
Our philosophy
We reject the traditional notion that charity is a one-way street. Real social impact comes from relationships, not transactions. It requires listening before acting, understanding before designing, and empathy before intervention. Encounters have to happen between equals.
Every child has a right to beauty
A thoughtfully designed room is not a luxury — it is the foundation for cognitive development, emotional security, and self-worth.
Every woman deserves to be seen and heard
Empowerment is not a rigid program but a relationship built on trust, respect, and genuine human connection.
Education is the greatest equalizer
A child's future must never be determined by the geography of their birth.
Dignity is not negotiable
Every interaction must preserve and strengthen the dignity of everyone involved.
We do not measure our success in square metres designed or funds disbursed, but in the number of children who sleep peacefully, women who find their own voice again, and classrooms filled with laughter and learning.
Our guiding principles
Radical empathy
We try to understand before we act. We ask rather than assume.
Dignity, always and everywhere
We never treat the people we support as objects of pity, but as equals.
Transparency & accountability
We publish our finances, our impact, and our setbacks too.
Partnership, not paternalism
We don't "rescue" anyone. We enable local actors and provide resources so communities can implement their own solutions.
Where we stand: our build phase
FFC Fischer Fritz is a young organization. We say so openly, because transparency is one of our core values — including about ourselves.
Right now we are laying the groundwork for the full operations we have planned for 2027. That includes:
Corporate structure and processes
Building the corporate structure and the processes between our US seat and the European office.
The studio and first pilot projects
Developing the studio and running first pilot projects for families, kindergartens, and schools.
First Salon Sessions
Establishing the first Salon Sessions partnerships and contacts with women's shelters.
First partner businesses
Bringing in the first partner businesses for "Give together, grow together".
Review and impact processes
Developing transparent, robust review and impact processes before we handle requests at scale.
We would rather build slowly and carefully than rush processes and partnerships. Anyone who contacts us during this phase — as a family, a business, or a partner organization — will be told honestly what is already possible now and what will only follow with full operations from 2027.
How you can get involved
Commission our studio
If you are looking for a special room for your child or a transformative learning environment for your school, we would be glad to work with you. Every commercial commission advances our social mission.
Become a partner
Whether you are an NGO, a salon owner, or a social institution — we are already looking for founding partners who share our values and will walk this build phase with us.
Request support
If you or your family are missing something, reach out. We listen, and we look at whether and how we can support you.
We are not naive. We know that a beautiful room does not end poverty and a haircut does not stop domestic violence. But we also know that every act of friendship, every moment of dignity, and every investment in a child's future sends out ripples that reach far beyond what is visible.
We design spaces. We rebuild lives. And we do it together.
