Last updated: September 2026. This page sets out our policy commitments in plain language. It is a governance doctrine, not a substitute for jurisdiction-specific legal advice — have it reviewed by counsel before relying on it in production.

These Terms of Service govern your use of this website, including requesting support, purchasing marketplace products, and making contributions to FFC Fischer Fritz PBC, a Delaware public benefit corporation. By using this site, you agree to these terms.

Using this site

You agree to provide accurate information when requesting support, purchasing a product, or making a contribution, and not to use this site for any unlawful purpose.

Requesting support

Submitting a request through Request Support does not guarantee that support will be provided. Decisions about whether and how to provide a haircut, manicure, or Family Fund support are made at our discretion, based on available funding and capacity, and are always reviewed by a person (see our AI Use Policy).

Marketplace purchases

Products listed in our shop are handmade and supplied by independent makers. Product descriptions are provided by or in cooperation with the maker; we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not independently manufacture or inspect every item. Because these are handmade goods, minor variation between items is normal and expected. If something arrives damaged or materially different from its description, contact us at shop@ffcfischerfritz.org so we can help make it right with you and the maker.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Proceeds from each sale are shared between the maker and our ongoing projects, at a percentage we will publish before the marketplace opens to buyers.

Contributions

Contributions made through this site support our haircut, Family Fund, and marketplace projects. Contributions are generally final and non-refundable, except as required by law. FFC Fischer Fritz PBC is a for-profit public benefit corporation, not a registered charity; the tax treatment of any contribution is not yet confirmed and should not be assumed to be tax-deductible unless and until we state otherwise in writing. Nothing on this site is tax or financial advice — consult your own advisor.

Intellectual property

The text, design, and branding of this site belong to FFC Fischer Fritz PBC, except for product descriptions and imagery supplied by individual makers, which remain their own. You may not reproduce or repurpose site content for commercial use without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

This site and the support we provide are offered in good faith and on an "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FFC Fischer Fritz PBC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this site, participation in our support programs, or purchase of marketplace products.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your own country of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
